Swimming Lessons

Today was the first day of swim lessons. It was hard to wait patiently for the day to get here but it finally arrived. She began with basic bubble blowing under water, then jumping up to get a breath. K was very good at this, as she practices in the tub all the time. Next they learned and practiced Flutter Kicks. She did very well here.
Next, she put the flutter kicks to good use. A boogie board helped her swim several trips back and forth across the pool. This was K's all time favorite part of swim lessons.
When it was all over, we took one posed shot of instructor and student together.

She told me that today was the best day of her life. So here is to the purest forms of enjoyment we experience as young children.
Love and Water

Kate, it looks like you had a lot of fun at your swimming lesson. I can hardly wait to see how well you can swim when I come home in May. I love you!
