this month's assignment.....

..... is portraits that show emotion. I like these three, but I'm not really sure what emotion I'd call the middle one. I would love to hear your opinions again. Please feel free to vote, give a critique, or just tell me what you think in the comments.
A... B......
C.......
Thanks in advance,
Love and emotions

Honey,
We already chatted about this a little bit, but I want to go ahead and put in my vote here for Photo C. I loved this picture the first time I saw it and like it even better the second time. It has a very peaceful quality to it. I admire your eye for cropping a photo so that it gets straight to the essence of the subject. This is the perfect example.
I think you're right on B. While I like the picture, I think it conveys her personality more than emotion. Photo A- He really does look like me, doesn't he? I've heard people say it since the day he was born, but this is really the first time I looked at his picture and thought, "Wow, I see it now." I think its the eyes. I've seen that same look, sort of a frustration, in the mirror. Not angry, just like he's trying really hard to figure something out. Again, I like the way you cropped this picture. I think the eyes are where emotion is really displayed, and you've really focused in on it in this photo, too. So I vote for C. Good luck, Honey. I love you.

I have a question for ya. I was experimenting wtih taking RAW pictures and I can't get blogger to upload them. Have you tried or had any success with that? Do you use photoshop or other similar program? I have so much to learn!

oh RAW... some people swear by it. I've shot in it. You will have to convert all your shots to jpgs before you can post them to blogger or anything. That should fix it. I use photoshop elements, it works well for most everything I need it for.
